Today we walk the paths of the National Forest in Los Angeles, California, USA. This imposing forest, home to majestic pines and steep ridges, houses a stretch of the legendary Pacific Ridge Trail. With more than 4,200 kilometers stretching from Mexico to Canada, the Pacific Ridge Trail is a dream for hiking lovers, comparable to the Camino de Santiago in Spain for its transcendence and beauty. Designated a National Scenic Trail in 1968, it traverses seven national parks and 25 national forests, offering dramatic landscapes of the American West.
