Today, in our image today, we will discover the impressive National Monument to the Katakhding Forest and Waters in the United States. This paradise, consisting of dense forests and clear rivers, stretches for approximately 35400 hectares. The site was established in 2016 and has a rich historical heritage in Maine's timber industry. Thanks to philanthropist Roxanne Quimby, it has become a symbol of conservation. This monument is home to various species such as elk, black bear, and Canadian lynx, making it a true paradise for hiking exploration, kayaking, or camping under the country's most starry sky.
