Legend has it that it all started with a leaf that fell into boiling water in ancient China. Centuries later, tea has become the second most consumed beverage in the world, behind only water. Today we celebrate International Tea Day, a date established by the United Nations to highlight its role in fighting poverty and supporting sustainable development.
