On Earth Day, let's visit one of the most fascinating geothermal wonders on Earth: the Great Prism Hot Springs in Yellowstone National Park. The largest hot spring in the United States has a diameter of 1.8 meters and a temperature of 70 degrees Celsius. Driven by the heat emitted by the Yellowstone volcano, its water vibrates in shades of blue, green, yellow, and orange, composed of thermophilic microorganisms that thrive in mineral rich water.
