The Ideas of March, a date full of historical significance, are inextricably linked to the dramatic events in ancient Rome. On the 15th. March 44.BC. Julius Caesar was assassinated in the Senate – a turning point in the history of Rome that marked the end of the Republic. This day is closely linked to the Roman Forum, where political and social power struggles took place. The imposing Temple of Saturn in the Roman Forum on our picture today is one of the oldest and most important buildings of ancient Rome. Built in 497 BC, The temple was dedicated to the god Saturn, patron saint of agriculture and prosperity.
