Today, we not only brought you an olive branch, but also gave you the entire tree! On November 26th, we celebrate World Olive Day, which is the perfect time to appreciate this wonderful plant. Olives began to be planted in the Eastern Mediterranean around 8000 years ago, and the Phoenicians brought them to Greece, Spain, and other parts of the Mediterranean. The olive branch has always been a symbol of peace, and its oil, wood, and fruit have been passed down from generation to generation.
