Ready for the magic of a starry night in Morocco? The wide sky and minimal light pollution transform every evening into a sparkling spectacle. Every star you see belongs to our galaxy, the Milky Way, which appears like a cream-colored strip of light in the dark sky. In today's picture you can see this beauty over Aït-Ben-Haddou, a historic Ksar, a kind of fortified village, in the province of Ouarzazate. This place was built in 11. It was an important station on the old caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech. The village is located on a hill on the Ounila River and is surrounded by a protective wall with towers and a gate. The architecture of stamped earth, clay bricks and wood bears witness to traditional craftsmanship. The UNESCO World Heritage Site is celebrated for its authenticity and the preservation of traditional building techniques.
