The Carlsbad Caves National Park in New Mexico, USA has deep rock canyons and ancient ridges, with some of the world's most unique rock formations. Under its desert landscape, there are over 119 hidden caves formed when sulfuric acid dissolves surrounding limestone. This national park was built in 1930 and is also the location of the largest basement in North America: the Big Room.
