On March 27th every year, the curtain is lifted with thunderous applause to celebrate World Theatre Day, a hymn to an art form that has influenced the public for centuries. The goal of this day is to promote drama, raise people's awareness of how drama protects ancient culture, provide social commentary throughout history, and even help form our language.
