Welcome to one of the most spectacular wildlife ecosystems on the planet: the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, which houses the world’s largest lion population. Influenced by weather and shaped by the geography of the land, the Serengeti National Park is among the most visited wildlife sanctuaries in Africa with a diverse population of mammals including the rare black rhinoceros. The tallest rocky hill in the park, Simba Kopje, was the inspiration behind Pride Rock in the film 'The Lion King.'
