Valentine’s Day is here! A day to celebrate love and tell your significant other how much they mean to you, Valentine’s Day is perhaps one of the most popular holidays around the world. Although the exact origins of this holiday are not known, it has often been associated with various ancient festivals like Lupercalia and the Feast Day of Saint Valentine. To make this day special for you and your partner, you can keep it simple with a date at your favourite restaurant. Or you can take a trip for two to Japan where you can enjoy the magical wintry wonderland of the Otaru Snow Light Path Festival held in Hokkaido every February.
