In Lüderitz, in the south of Namibia, the flamencos are not passing by: they stay, firm… on one leg! These elegant birds, the largest of their kind, give a pink touch to the windy Atlantic coast. They reach up to 1.5 meters in height and stand out for their long spoon-shaped peaks and slender legs like canes.
