Sardinia, in Italy, is an authentic treasure of the Mediterranean, with steep cliffs, hidden coves and waters ranging from turquoise to emerald blue. Its coastline, of more than 1,770 kilometers, guards unforgettable corners. Although it has few rivers – the Tirso is the longest – the island has 54 artificial lakes and reservoirs, such as the Omodeo and the Coghinas, essential for water and energy.
