An icon of South American nature that challenges the passage of time. Founded in 1959, Torres del Paine National Park is a jewel of Chilean Patagonia. With more than 227,000 hectares protected, it is home to millennia-old glaciers, lakes of intense blue and the iconic granite towers that name it. The weather is unpredictable: winds of up to 120 km/h can make way in minutes for clear skies or sudden rain.
