The lights are on and the curtains are open: today is World Theatre Day. Since 1961, this event has been promoted by the International Theatre Institute (ITI), bringing artists and audiences together to celebrate creativity and storytelling. Every year, an outstanding theatrical figure shares a message translated into over 50 languages, reflecting on the role of drama as a mirror of reality, an engine of change, and a sanctuary for imagination.
