As impressive as the Strokkur geyser in Iceland may seem, it warms winter in a completely different way. Located in the geothermal area next to the Hvítá River, this geyser erupts every 4 to 8 minutes, shooting water at about 120 degrees Celsius and 15 to 20 meters into the air. Did you know that Spain also has large geysers? Like the geysers of Lanzarote in Timanfaya National Park or the Almagro geyser in Ciudad Real.
