Today's homepage takes us to Jutland, Denmark. The arrival of spring showcases the green tones of The Hague in Europe, which is a national symbol of this northern land. The tender leaves of these flowering trees are important to Danes as they are collected from April to May for cooking, especially salads. In the past, Europeans often used the smooth bark of beech trees to write. In fact, in modern Dutch, the word "book" is directly translated as "The Hague". When sunlight shines on the leaves of the forest, wild sea anemones illuminate the forest with their white petals. These flowers represent exquisite beauty and sincerity, even starring in masterpieces by artists such as Monet and Vincent van Gogh.
