Just a few kilometres north of the vibrant capital Seoul, Bukhansan National Park in South Korea is a popular retreat for city dwellers and international visitors. The 1983-founded park houses lush forests, ancient temples and the three granite peaks of the Bukhan Mountains. Water deer, wild boar, chipmunks and squirrels are native to the ridges and valleys of the park.
