The beautiful town of Aguero in the province of Vesca is located on the edge of the characteristic pink gray mountains. The cliffs known as the grid serve as the background for the village, making it incredibly photogenic. This micro village with 130 residents is a tourist attraction due to the 12th century Romanesque church in Santiago. This National Monument is also a spectacle worth seeing, with its complex and famous animal sculptures and religious scenes created by artists known only as the Master of San Juan de La Penia.
