The Lantern Festival

Lantern Festival (Lantern Festival), the first full moon of the New Year, is the “grand finale” of Chinese New Year activities. On this day, people can go out to enjoy the moon, light lanterns and set off fireworks, guess lantern riddles, eat Yuanxiao or soup round, family reunion, celebrate the festival together, and have a happy time. Viewing lanterns is a major activity of Chinese people on this day, with the Lantern Festival Lantern Exhibition in Shanghai's Yuyuan Garden being particularly exciting.
The 2025 Yu Garden Lantern Festival is an event held from January 1 to February 12, 2025. The theme of this year's lantern festival is the wonderful "Mountains and Rivers". It shows the magical scene of the jungle that is all-encompassing and full of vitality.
