Llama Day
Guanacos are native to South America, mainly distributed in the central and western parts of the continent, mostly inhabiting the Andes Mountains on the border between Peru and Bolivia. Guanacos are alert and agile by nature, like to go out in groups to forage, and have a relatively docile personality.
The guanaco is an elegant and slender animal,1.0 to 1.3 meters tall at the shoulder, 2.1 to 2.2 meters long, and weighing 90 to 140 kilograms. Their body color varies little, they have no humps on their backs, and most of them are covered with reddish-brown hair with a white undercoat. Other friends of the same genus as the guanaco include: camels, llamas, alpacas, etc.
