Vernazza in the Cinque Terre region of Italy
Behold the village of Vernazza. The second of the municipalities forming part of the Cinque Terre National Park, a UNESCO site since 1997. A genuine pearl of the Ligurian coast. The village developed along the Vernazzola stream and has an urban layout of a series of alleys and steep stairways. Other architectural delights such as loggias, arcades, and portals can also be noted. In addition, at the top of the town stands The small shrine of Our Lady of Reggio, which can be reached via a path about two kilometers long. Ideal for hiking enthusiasts!
Regarded as one of the most charming Ligurian villages in Italy, it is a tempting destination for tourists who love outdoor excursions as well as the peace and tranquility by the sea that only places like this can offer.
